Juice
Many people start the day with a healthy glass of juice as part of their breakfast. However, natural fruit juice has natural sugars, which can cause the acids in your mouth to spike. If you drink fruit juice daily, try diluting it with water. You could even try drinking juice on alternate days, substituting with water.
And remember to brush your teeth after each meal.
Coffee and Tea
It can be hard to start the day without our daily hit of caffeine, but a small change, such as reducing the sugar in each cup is easy to make. You could also try having green tea, instead, which is served without sugar.

Snacks
A lot of processed snacks have high amounts of sugar, so opt for healthy snacks such as carrot or celery sticks, nuts or fresh fruit.

Sweet foods
Chocolate, dried fruit, cakes, biscuits and sweet foods are tempting to have, but it is best to limit these as treats.
Brush after every meal
To take the best care of your teeth, make sure to brush after every meal. It is advisable to brush at least twice a day.
Clean between your teeth
To minimise and remove plaque, it is important to clean in between your teeth. The removal of plaque will ensure that the acid that creates tooth decay is reduced.
